Glidewell is the name most dentists know. If you are looking for a Glidewell alternative, the question is whether the price difference buys you anything.
The price, and what is left off
Glidewell's published footnote reads: “Price is per unit and does not include shipping or applicable taxes.” Ours includes shipping in both directions and tax. That is the difference between a quoted price and an invoice.
Twenty digital zirconia crowns a month come to $1,100 with us and $1,780 at Glidewell's list price before shipping and tax: a $680 difference.
| Snap | Glidewell | |
|---|---|---|
| Zirconia, digital case | $55 | $89 |
| Zirconia, impression case | $69 | $109 |
| Shipping | Included, both ways | Not included |
| Sales tax | Included | Not included |
| Published price list | All 88 line items | Headline products |
| Monthly minimum | None | None |
Glidewell's Next-Day service is genuinely fast: scan in by 2pm, finished crown by 10:30 the next morning, $149 a unit with overnight shipping.
For cases that can wait a week, SnapFast gives you a written date, scan to door, for $99 a unit. For everything else, it is $55 with shipping and tax inside the number.
Where we are different
One price list for everything. All 88 line items on one page, in one currency, with shipping and tax inside each number.
A person checks your scan first. Before anything is milled, on any scanner, at no cost.
Nothing to join. No minimum, no contract, no platform. Glidewell quotes 3 days in the lab on standard BruxZir; transit comes on top.
“All the crowns, they just fit in perfectly. No occlusal adjustments, no heavy contacts or open contacts. The margins are really good.”
Check the arithmetic on your own cases
Send two crowns, scan or impression. We make them at no cost, shipping included, and you can judge the fit against whatever you use now.
